Self-landscapes in Transition: Chinese Avantguard Photography Since 1990

As an important component in the development of Chinese avant-garde art in the 1990s, avant-garde photography has made significant visual impact upon avant-garde art in the 1990s, and has in the meantime achieved international reputation. The present publication provides a background and study of the development of this art form in China since 1990, featuring works by leading artists in the field, and with contributions from noted curators and art critics.
