Frame of the Images; Boundary of the Time: Condo Shanghai
7 Jul - 26 Aug 2018 Shanghai A+ Contemporary 亞洲當代藝術空間榮幸地宣佈,我們於2018年7月7日參與首屆Condo 上海項目,與墨西哥畫廊joségarcía ,mx聯合策劃展覽「圖像·時間·界線」。 參與展出的三位藝術家José León Cerrillo(joségarcía ,mx)、Nina Beier(joségarcía ,mx)和黃榮法(A+ Contemporary 亞洲當代藝術空間)圍繞展覽主題,呈現雕塑、裝置、錄影等一系列作品。José León Cerrillo 的圖像語言與Nina Beier的布料媒材跨越於二維三維空間邊界;而藝術家黃榮法在重新分析探討時間的流逝中,將不可觸及的時間表現於各種媒介形式,把時間的界線延伸至極致。從而圖像與時間的界線在此相互摩擦,引領觀眾走入一個空間與物體交織的多維度迷宮。展覽將持續至2018年8月26日。 在墨西哥藝術家José León Cerrillo的「新巴羅克」與「詩」系列中,藉由將潔簡圖像演變至精細組裝的雕塑作品,藝術家重新解析圖像的視覺組成,將線條、形狀、顏色等基本圖形元素從二維平面中解放至立體空間構造,也引領觀眾嘗試從不同角度觀看作品。于此相對應的是丹麥藝術家Nina Beier的「肖像模式」作品系列。反向地探索了圖像的多重可能性,Beier 將布料放置於畫框的背面,使三維物體橫跨框架的界線從而變成圖像,在此轉換過程中,意在表達不斷變換的服裝潮流是一個被包裝的虛假之物。 重新詮釋「鐵杵成針」這句中國古代諺語,香港藝術家黃榮法的同名錄影作品捕捉了他對這個承諾的一個瞬間。在此, 藝術家用看似荒謬的舉動將時間流轉到其個人的一生中。在雕塑作品「時˙ 針系列」中,黃榮法延續了「鐵杵成針」的隱喻之意,將從鐵杵提取而來的金屬粉收集並封存在針狀的玻璃管子內。于此,藝術家每天的勞勤成為宛如時間囊內的瑰寶。通過這些稍縱即逝卻又持續不斷的舉動,藝術家將觀眾引領入一個帶有形式儀式感的場域。通過可見的物體,不可觸及的時間被顯現,從而,在交替轉承中,時間與空間的界線在此緩慢地延伸相融。 穿梭於圖像的邊框,跨越於模糊的時間邊緣,三位藝術家藉由各自的藝術創作共同勾勒出一個界線交錯的場域。在動與靜、形式與象徵的交替中,觀眾也逐漸成為了這個微妙變幻時空概念體的一部分。 關於藝術家 黃榮法 1984年生於香港,2007年畢業於香港城市大學創意媒體學院創意媒體系,獲榮譽學士學位;2013年畢業於倫敦大學斯萊德藝術學院,獲純藝術碩士學位。現生活及工作於香港。個展包括:「一寸光陰一寸金」(巴塞爾藝術展香港展會-藝術探新單元,香港會議展覽中心,香港,2018)、「此刻的涼薄只存在於主觀與客觀的一念之間」(溫哥華亞洲當代藝術國際中心,溫哥華,2016)、「短劃;喧笑;水塘」( A+ Contemporary 亞洲當代藝術空間策劃,亞洲藝術中心台北二館,台北,2016)、「KIGOJA標準時間(KST)」(KIGOJA,首爾,2016)、「無題─高速公路」(勞斯萊斯陳列室,香港,2015)、「鐵柱成針」(Tintype Gallery,倫敦,2013)、「一小時」(2P Contemporary Art Gallery,香港,2011)。群展包括:「圖像·時間·界綫 – Condo上海」( A+ Contemporary 亞洲當代藝術空間與joségarcía, mx共同策劃, A+ Contemporary 亞洲當代藝術空間,上海,2018) 、「錄像連線:柏林 – 香港 3/6」(香港歌德學院,香港,2018)、「疆域—地緣的拓撲」(OCAT研究中心,北京,2018)、「疆域—地緣的拓撲」(OCT Contemporary... The Second Oracle – He Xun Solo Exhibition
