The famous artist Li Chen’s solo exhibition”In Search of Spiritual Space”opened at the National Art Museum in April, 29th, 2008. This is Li Chen’s first solo exhibition in Beijing, China. The exhibition will present not only 20 representative works from different era since 1998, such as “Pure Land”,”Dragon-Riding Bodhisattva”,but also the latest works from 2008 such as “Collective Consciousness”, “Soul Guardian” etc.
Just before the opening of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, this exhibition is another meaningful event after the “52nd International Art Exhibition-La Biennale di Venezia”. It is also a milestone of Li Chen’s artistic life, as well as a bright star in the sky of oriental culture which everyone in the world is focusing on. This is also the best evidence to show Li Chen’s sculpture ability.
