For the artist, plein air painting serves as a profoundly restorative process that facilitates mental clarity and emotional renewal.
Regarding the past, the artist attempts to erase everything, but finds himself powerless to do so, causing the blurred images to present a more authentic state instead. Facing the present, the artist is determined to embrace challenges, allowing life to settle in an unfamiliar environment. After arriving in Taiwan, the artist visited many Taiwanese landscapes to sketch. During these explorations, in the moments of sketching, he found himself gradually understanding this unfamiliar environment, and slowly forgetting those memories he wished not to recall.
