This artwork features the character "kong" (空, emptiness) written in cursive script across multiple paper Uchiwa (traditional Japanese fans), capturing the unsettled feelings experienced when facing an unfamiliar environment. Cursive script is a highly expressive calligraphic form that emphasizes spontaneity and fluidity. When applied to fan surfaces, the structural "bones" of the fan create layered impressions similar to those in "Silent Exodus," enhancing the dynamic visual effect. The installation component below the fan incorporates literal movement—visualizing wind effects without leaving permanent traces—reinforcing the fundamental meaning of "kong": the impermanent nature of all phenomena.
Texts: Void (in cursive script).
