The artist employed non-traditional ink applications to create substantial, dense ink tonalities that appear to solidify. The brushwork intentionally conveys a raw, deliberate quality, suggesting the resistance encountered when moving forward, thus expressing the challenges inherent in overcoming limitations. Within the clerical script structure, the artist positions the "water" and "jue" radicals to diverge toward opposite margins of the narrow paper format, suggesting the potential for breakthrough.
