In this artwork, the phrase "zou ren" (走人) is a common Cantonese colloquialism meaning "departure," conveying a nuanced sense of detachment distinct from Taiwanese or Standard Mandarin expressions. This work employs cursive seal script, featuring fluid, dynamic brushwork in the initial stroke. The piece is enhanced by textural variations created through fluctuating ink density and layered impressions from paper wrinkles, all of which amplify the kinetic quality of "running."
