This artwork conveys the ineffable challenges of past experiences. The artist deliberately allows ink of varying consistencies to disperse from the initial stroke, enhancing the work's spontaneous qualities. The brushstroke highlights "experimentality," embracing "unpredictability" in brush and ink expression. Traditional calligraphic aesthetics emphasize "technical discipline," focusing on predictable outcomes through the "mind before brush" approach—incorporating techniques such as initiating strokes, terminating strokes, returning strokes, and modulating pressure, all within the anticipated range of technical proficiency. In contrast, exploratory approaches reconsider these conventions, pursuing "unexpected" results that introduce elements of unpredictability.
