This artwork emerges from urban reverie, set in Taipei's Daan Forest Park, capturing artist’s reflective mood during city exploration. Unlike meditation's stillness, contemplation involves a dreamlike journey between perception and memory, transforming the cityscape into psychological terrain. On silver-foiled substrates, dark chromatics and fluid brushwork capture both atmospheric and psychological dimensions of the verdant canopy. Continuing artist’s "blurring" technique, botanical elements appear in perceptual ambiguity, mirroring contemporary urban existence's indeterminate nature. The empty park benches symbolize anticipation and identity, while the ambiguous signs and subdued lighting reveal uncertainty about future paths. Peripheral traffic cones suggest psychological vulnerabilities beneath familiar environments, creating boundaries that accentuate displacement.
Compositionally, the artwork uses two vertical planes, creating a disjointed polyptych arrangement reflecting discontinuities in artist’s previous life experiences.
