Special Precautions
1.Before use, please ensure that all maintenance tools are completely clean. Do not use any tools that are not specifically recommended. If foreign particles are present on the cotton cloth, they may scratch the surface of the sculpture during cleaning. Please exercise particular caution.
2.Viewers wearing rings, watches, or other sharp accessories should exercise caution when approaching or touching the artwork to avoid accidentally scratching the surface.
3.All Ju Ming sculptures are entirely handmade, and the surface may show marks and textures from the artisanal process. These are not scratches but part of the artwork’s character. Collectors can rest assured. -

4.Do not use alcohol, brass polish, chemical cleaners, household cleaning agents, or furniture polish on the sculpture, as these substances may cause irreversible damage.5.Metal artworks naturally oxidize over time when exposed to air. Additionally, dust particles are hygroscopic and can absorb moisture from the atmosphere, which may lead to metal corrosion. If the surrounding air contains pollutants such as sulfur, chlorine, or acidic substances, the metal surface is particularly vulnerable to deterioration. For stainless steel sculptures, it is especially important to protect the surface coating from damage. Prolonged exposure to moisture and oils from handling can promote rust formation. Regular interaction, care, and gentle wiping using the recommended maintenance tools are advised to help preserve the sculpture’s condition and prevent corrosion.

Basic Cleaning Method
6.The basic cleaning method involves regularly using a soft-bristled brush to gently remove dust from the sculpture. Follow the recommended cleaning sequence: from top to bottom and from the inside outward. This helps prevent the accumulation of dust and dirt on the artwork.
While cleaning, it is also advisable to carefully inspect the sculpture for any irregularities. If any abnormalities are detected—such as noticeable deterioration, significant fading of painted surfaces, or other concerning conditions—please contact Asia Art Center immediately at +886-2-2754-1366. A professional team will assist with assessment and necessary conservation work.
